Participated in Guinness World Record Cleanup
On Saturday, 8th November 2025, over 10 members of Blue Tide Movement participated in the “Beneath the Blue World Record Underwater Cleanup Attempt”, an inspiring initiative led by Sustainable Future Initiatives (SFI) and proudly sponsored by MAAN.
Thanks to the combined efforts of divers from around the world, the event successfully set a Guinness World Record, showcasing the power of community action in protecting our oceans.

Community Public Beach&Ocean Clean-ups
Community Public Beach&Ocean Clean-ups
Our beach clean-ups serve as the front line of defense against ocean pollution. Mobilizing local student volunteers, community members, and eco-advocates, Blue Tide Movement organizes systematic coastal sweeps targeting high-density plastic pollution, microplastics, submerged marine debris, and discarded commercial gear.
Rather than simply picking up trash, our operations follow structured marine conservation protocols: every clean-up includes pre-event safety briefings, designated zone mapping, and post-event waste auditing. Collected debris is sorted on-site into recyclables, hazardous items, and general waste, preventing tons of non-biodegradable synthetic materials from reaching fragile marine habitats or endangering local coastal wildlife.

Blue Tide Movement engages in a variety of initiatives to protect the oceans and raise awareness about marine conservation. Our activities include:
1. Beach & Underwater Clean-Ups
Organizing local beach clean-ups to remove litter and plastics
Participating in large-scale events, including world-record underwater cleanups
Encouraging volunteers to take part in official ocean conservation campaigns
2. Research & Environmental Investigations
Studying the impact of human activities, such as plastic use, on marine ecosystems
Conducting surveys and data collection to inform conservation strategies
Publishing findings to raise awareness and drive policy or behavioral change
3. Awareness Campaigns & Education
Creating ocean-themed videos and sharing them online
Promoting simple individual actions, like avoiding single-use plastics for a week
Collaborating with schools, communities, and organizations to educate about ocean protection
